Giant Army also has a pretty ambitious set of features it'd like to add to the sandbox, including life simulation, missions, and support for both SteamVR and Oculus Rift. Players will also be able to terraform planets, set off solar flares, and create black holes. Already, the game boasts the capability to simulate "gravity, climate, collision, and material interactions". While Universe Sandbox 2 is still in active development, Giant Army says that it's already better and more fully-featured than the original. Universe Sandbox 2 promises to allow players to "create and destroy on an unimaginable scale," and it looks pretty sweet while doing it. Giant Army's follow-up to the 2011 space simulator Universe Sandbox has entered Steam Early Access.
